I recently stayed at Char's Landing in Port Alberni for one night with my mom and daughter. It was the perfect place for us before our early morning start on the Lady Rose. The room was simple, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Despite being a hostel, we had all the privacy we needed with a large private bathroom. The host was welcoming and the location was great. The common areas had a cozy feel, reminding us of our grandparents' house. it was an awesome stay and we enjoyed every bit of it.

We even had a wonderful time listening to jazz music on Sunday nights. we highly recommend Char'S Landing for its affordable price and welcoming environment.
